Customer Profile: Proud owner of two BiG M II’s We decided to run a KRONE BiG M II because we were able to increase our capacity enormously. In our operation, one Big M does the job of two conventional windrowers. With the BiG M we are able to cut our fuel consumption up to 65%, not to mention the labor savings involved by replacing two smaller machines with one BiG M. For the first time ever we are able to mow 40 acres per hour with just one machine. Considering our tough conditions, this is amazing! The outstanding performance and reliability of the BiG M II starts where other competitive machines reach their limit. We really like the SafeCut Cutterbar and the big flotation tires. The front axle suspension makes it a pleasure to operate the machine even in rough fields. We think that the mechanical drive train of the BiG M has some real advantages over the hydraulics competitive machines are using. We think a mechanical drive train makes the machine more efficient.
