We are able to cut more than 420 tons per hour with our twin engine, 1020 hp machine, (using) less than 0.108 gal/ton, that is 108 gal/1000 tons. Before we actually bought the machine, we didn’t think that this was possible. Well, our machine is living proof that it can be done. Many dairies are moving into Texas; the amount of corn which needs to get chopped has become more and more than in the past. We need a corn head that cuts it in all conditions.
