Meet Tim Adcock of Adcock Agri - Krone Ambassador of the Year 2022

Adcock Agri Ltd are a family business based in Chelmsford, Essex who have been in the agricultural industry for 18 years. They became Krone dealers in March 2020. Tim Adcock, Company Director said ‘his company is perfectly placed to provide Essex grass and forage farmers with arguably the top brand of forage and grassland equipment in the UK.’

Tim also commented ‘The brand fits well with our existing franchise portfolio, Krone is well established in our area but there is a great opportunity to build market share with new and existing customers.

This season they have been dedicated to BiG Pack demonstrations and following on from this, it has lead to a successful sale of the new Gen 5 BiG Pack 1290 HDP. They have also sold a set of the new EasyCut B 950 Collect Mowers. Tim is not afraid of putting in a well-produced stock order of core products that he knows are going to thrive in his area.

Back in November 2021, the team had an Open Day to showcase their current brands and the Krone stock availability. He was supported by current and upcoming customers which was fantastic to see. Tim also supported Essex Young Farmers County Show where he won Best Agricultural Trade Stand with the array of machines of display and his overall stand presentation.

Eleazar McKeever, South East Territory Sales Manager said ‘The team are always willing to help customers and Krone as much as possible. Tim is a great team leader and is always keen to make it work and he will throw himself at any situation to help out!’

We asked Tim what it meant to him to win the award ‘I am extremely humbled to receive the Ambassador of the Year award. The Adcock Agri team have thoroughly enjoyed our time working with Krone, with us being still a relatively new dealer they have made every aspect of taking on the franchise a seamless operation.’

‘Our experience with the team has been fantastic, whether it be new machinery and spare parts stocking or technical support our territory team have always been extremely supportive in any way they can. Eleazar and James are on hand at all hours to answer any questions we have and have a swift and effective solution for any issues we experience. They have also been extremely supportive of our successful baler demonstration campaign this year.’ Tim said.
